About the role#
As a Financial Due Diligence Intern, you will support our Transaction Advisory practice during the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside partners, executives, and peers to provide services for both sell-side and buy-side clients across various industries. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in the planning, execution, and completion phases of M&A transactions.
What you'll do#
- Work on financial due diligence engagements from start to finish.
- Manage data flow and monitor the dataroom.
- Collaborate with the offshore support team to build analysis packages that interpret financial data.
- Build custom analyses to identify key insights for clients.
- Drive the deal process by communicating with key parties and managing internal and external deadlines.
- Participate in meetings with clients, target company management, private equity firms, and investment bankers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize financial information and large datasets.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

- Location: Newport Beach, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
- Duration: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship at a rate of $40 per hour.
