About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will join project delivery teams to gain exposure to various industries, business processes, operations, and systems. You will work under the supervision of experienced team members to execute high-quality advisory projects while managing your workload against budgets and timelines.
What you'll do#
- Assess business and information technology processes and system internal controls.
- Conduct risk assessments to inform enterprise risk, operational risk, and third-party risk management projects.
- Execute internal audit plans, including information technology audits.
- Obtain and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results using analytics solutions.
- Leverage analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to advance your understanding and deliver client services.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to identify and manage project risks and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with business development activities, including research and contribution to proposals.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or MIS.
- Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Ability to travel at least 25% as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (at least three days per week in the office or at a client site).
- Compensation: $40.00 per hour.
