About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within either IT Risk or Business Process Risk, gaining exposure to various consulting and compliance projects. You will support engagement teams by helping clients assess their internal controls environment, including Internal Audit, SOX compliance, and IT readiness projects. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Los Angeles.
What you'll do#
- Perform business process and information systems controls assessments and testing.
- Execute high quality risk projects from start to finish under the supervision of experienced leadership.
- Help clients assess internal controls via Internal Audit, SOX readiness, and IT compliance projects.
- Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans.
- Evaluate and test business processes and IT controls to identify areas of risk.
- Manage your workload to meet project budgets and apply technical skills to client solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week at a company office or client site.
- Pay: $40 per hour.
