About the role#
As an Audit IT Assurance Intern, you will deliver a range of IT audit services to our clients. You will support financial statement audits by testing and assessing information systems control reviews. You will work directly with Partners, Managers, and Senior Executives as a member of the engagement team.
What you'll do#
- Apply your knowledge of IT trends and systems to identify security and risk management issues.
- Maintain professional rapport with clients and interact with management to help ensure satisfaction and meet deadlines.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned client operations, processes, and business objectives.
- Meet or exceed IT Assurance metrics, including billable hours and CPE requirements.
- Participate in recruiting efforts and other business development activities as needed.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Information Security experience or training is required.
- Desire to pursue professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CISM.
- Some related work experience in public accounting or delivering controls-based services.
- Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
- Compensation: $42.50 per hour.
