About the role#
This is a full-time internship position within the Federal Credits and Incentives group. You will gain experience in tax planning and research while supporting client engagements during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with tax planning and research for the R&D credit and other federal incentives.
- Manage multiple projects at once, including data gathering, client interviews, computations, and resource coordination.
- Draft opinion letters and technical memoranda.
- Develop an understanding of the client business.
- Support the success of federal credit engagements.
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting and have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- You work well in a team and can handle multiple tasks at once.
- You must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to client locations.
