About the role#
As an Audit IT Assurance Intern, you will deliver a range of IT audit services to clients. You will join engagement teams alongside Partners, Managers, and Senior Executives to assess information systems controls in support of financial statement audits. This role involves applying your knowledge of IT trends and systems processes to identify security and risk management issues while seeking opportunities for process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Test and assess information systems control review engagements.
- Maintain professionalism and build rapport with client management.
- Manage client expectations and help meet project deadlines.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations and business objectives.
- Participate in recruiting and other business development activities.
- Meet or exceed established IT Assurance metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Required experience or training in Information Security.
- Desire to pursue professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CISM.
- Strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
- Master's degree, related public accounting experience, or understanding of Key Reports and Application Controls are considered pluses.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site).
- Compensation: $42.50 per hour.
- Status: Full-time.
