About the role#
This summer internship offers a chance to rotate through multiple departments at George Koch Sons. You will gain hands-on experience in engineering, sales and estimating, field services, research and development, and manufacturing. The program aims to provide a broad understanding of our business while helping you develop your technical and professional skills through real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various departments to learn different aspects of our operations.
- Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Participate in cost estimations and create customer proposals for new projects.
- Support project implementation, on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Contribute to product development and innovation projects.
- Assist with process improvements, workflow optimization, and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A strong interest in rotating through diverse functional areas.
- Problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.

- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: 25 to 28 USD per hour.
