About the role#
George Koch Sons is hiring interns for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced engineering professionals who provide mentorship and hands-on guidance. This role involves full-time work on various projects to help you gain practical experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Participate in design and project engineering tasks.
- Assist with installation processes.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You can read electrical schematics.
- You have experience or knowledge of PLC and HMI programming, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
- You have experience with networks like Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, or ProfiNet.
- You are able to travel to job sites for extended periods.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The program runs for 11 weeks during the summer.
