    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom skills to programs supporting national defense. You will work on technical projects alongside experienced colleagues to develop solutions for national security missions.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with teams on technical projects.
    • Apply engineering knowledge to defense support programs.
    • Build your professional skill set while working with a group of colleagues.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Optical Engineering, Physics, or Systems Engineering.
    • Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
    • A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
    • U.S. citizenship is required.
    • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance.

    Location & details#

    • This position is located in McLeansville, North Carolina.
    • Work is 100% on-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
    • The pay range is $26.00 to $29.00 per hour.
