About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to support national defense programs. You will apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects that help protect the country. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Colorado Springs.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom-learned skills to programs supporting national defense.
- Work on projects that support national defense services.
- Develop solutions for national security missions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Sophomore standing or higher is preferred.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance. A Secret clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
