About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the International TacCIS team to support communication and information systems for armored vehicles used by NATO nations. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in Calgary, Alberta.
What you'll do#
- Perform design, analysis, and test functions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Implement software routines to meet project requirements.
- Maintain the code base according to established coding standards.
- Document your work, including designs and test reports, using standard templates.
- Investigate system problem reports and conduct root cause and trend analyses.
- Provide technical support during integration and qualification testing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
- Familiarity with or experience using AI/ML models is preferred.
