About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for a Manufacturing Intern Engineer to join our team in Pittsfield. You will work on projects that support national security missions and defense services. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues on technical projects while applying your academic knowledge to real-world programs.
What you'll do#
- Apply skills learned in the classroom to programs that support the defense of the country.
- Work with collaborative teams on technical projects related to our core mission.
- Develop your professional skill set by working with a technically accomplished group.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Manufacturing, Industrial Systems, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- A thorough understanding of engineering technology.
- Preference for students with a standing of sophomore or higher.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, as selected candidates will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation.
