About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship based in Phoenix, Arizona. You will support the HR administration team and gain hands-on experience in a mining industry setting. Please note that this position does not offer immigration work visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various HR projects based on site needs.
- Help with the investigation and counseling process.
- Prepare for problem solving and arbitration proceedings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited four-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related field.
- Recent college graduates who finished their degree within 12 months prior to the internship start date are also eligible.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Ability to understand and communicate verbal and written work and safety instructions in English.

- Location: Phoenix, Arizona.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (typically May through August).
- Compensation: Estimated pay range of $21.00 to $25.50 per hour, based on education and experience.
- Physical requirements: You may work in an office, mine, or manufacturing plant setting. This may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, moving mechanical parts, or airborne particles. You must be able to stand, sit, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 30 pounds. Use of personal protective equipment is required in certain environments.
