About the role#
Findorff is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience across all phases of construction, from preconstruction through project closeout. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build foundational technical, administrative, and leadership skills. This role is available for Summer 2027 or Fall 2027 terms and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication.
- Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, and assist with short-term planning.
- Gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, bid package preparation, and basic estimating activities.
- Work with Superintendents to assist with material coordination and quality assurance.
- Utilize tools such as Bluebeam and Procore while supporting document updates.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfort using technology with strong computer skills.
- A genuine interest in building a career in the construction industry.
