About the role#
Findorff is hiring a Project Engineer Co-op to work with our team in Lexington, Kentucky. This role spans the Summer and Fall terms of 2027, running from May or June through December. You will work on-site and gain hands-on experience across all phases of construction, from preconstruction through project closeout. This position is paid and full-time.
What you'll do#
You will support project teams by managing RFIs, submittals, and document control. You will participate in team meetings, record minutes, and assist with short-term planning. The role involves working with Superintendents on material coordination and safety walks. You will also gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, bid package preparation, and subcontractor outreach. Throughout the term, you will use software tools like Bluebeam and Procore to track project information and update documents.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. You should have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail. We need someone comfortable with technology and computer tasks. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A genuine interest in building a career in the construction industry is essential.
