About the role#
Findorff is hiring a Project Engineer Co-op for our Ann Arbor location. This role provides hands-on experience across the construction lifecycle, from preconstruction to project closeout. You will work with Project Management, Field Operations, and MEP teams to build technical and administrative skills. This position is available for Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication.
- Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, and assist with short-term planning.
- Gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, bid package preparation, and subcontractor outreach.
- Work with Superintendents to assist with material coordination and safety walks.
- Use software tools like Bluebeam and Procore for document updates and tracking.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort with technology and strong computer skills.
- A genuine interest in building a career in the construction industry.
