About the role#
Findorff is hiring a Project Engineer Co-op for our Wausau, Wisconsin office. This role is open for the Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 terms. You will gain hands-on experience in construction, ranging from preconstruction to project closeout. You will work with Project Management, Field Operations, and MEP teams while building technical and administrative skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication.
- Participate in team meetings, take meeting minutes, and assist with short-term planning.
- Gain exposure to quantity takeoffs, bid package preparation, and subcontractor outreach.
- Work with Superintendents to assist with material coordination and safety walks.
- Use tools like Bluebeam and Procore for document updates and project tracking.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable using technology and strong computer skills.
- Interest in building a career in the construction industry.
