About the role#
Enerfab offers a paid construction management internship for students interested in the industrial construction field. This role provides hands-on experience by working alongside project teams and management. We look for individuals who want to build a career in this industry.
What you'll do#
- Use Bluebeam and CAD software to work with 2D and 3D drawings.
- Help project teams create technical and commercial documents for active construction sites.
- Assist lead estimators as they develop project estimates for new work.
- Provide documentation, including specifications and scope of work, to support various departments.
- Manage project closeout tasks by collecting documents, reviewing change orders, and checking order specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis on project events to help implement controls and prevent future issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for engineering or construction management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A self-motivated approach to work.
