About the role#
Enerfab is offering a paid Construction Management internship for Summer 2027. This full-time position is based on-site in Evansville, Indiana. The program is designed to provide hands-on experience in industrial construction, and many members of our current management team began their careers as interns here.
What you'll do#
- Use Bluebeam and CAD software to work with 2D and 3D drawings.
- Collaborate with project teams to create technical and commercial documents for active construction sites.
- Help lead estimators develop project estimates for new opportunities.
- Support various departments by preparing specifications, drawings, and scope of work documents.
- Manage project closeout procedures by reviewing change orders and ensuring order specifications are met.
- Perform root cause analysis on project events to help implement controls and prevent future issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency in Windows applications, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-motivation and a clear interest in a career within the industrial construction field.
- We accept majors including Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, and Aerospace Engineering.
