About the role#
Enerfab offers a paid internship program for students interested in industrial construction. This role provides hands-on experience in project management, working directly with our project teams to support active construction projects. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from initial cost estimating to final closeout procedures.
What you'll do#
- Read and interpret blueprints using Bluebeam and CAD software for 2D and 3D drawings.
- Collaborate with project teams to produce technical and commercial documents for active jobs.
- Assist lead estimators in developing project estimates for new opportunities.
- Manage RFI and submittal processes by preparing specifications and scope of work documentation.
- Support project closeout by reviewing change orders and ensuring order specifications are met.
- Participate in root cause analysis to maintain safety and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for engineering or construction management.
- Proficiency with Windows applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work.
- A clear interest in pursuing a career in industrial construction.
