About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Software Engineer Co-Op position for Summer 2027 based in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will join the Enterprise Modernization organization to work on banking technology, including mobile platforms, intelligent messaging, and internal business tools. You will be integrated into an engineering team, participating in agile sprints and receiving mentorship from experienced tech leads.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to mobile platform development.
- Enhance the intelligent customer messaging platform.
- Modernize banking domains by moving from monolithic systems to microservices.
- Design and build internal tools to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in 2026 roadmap initiatives.
- Own feature development from conception through deployment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Data Science.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java Spring Boot, Angular, or Node.js.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
