About the role#
This 11-week summer internship at Fifth Third Bank provides hands-on experience within the Corporate Client Coverage group. You will work in our Charlotte office to learn business practices, operations, and procedures while preparing for potential future roles in commercial banking. This is a paid, full-time position that requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain complex financial models.
- Perform detailed financial analysis with minimal oversight.
- Create presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Manage multiple high-priority tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Develop working relationships with colleagues in Credit and Capital Markets.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Minimum 3.3 GPA.
- Strong interest in financial analysis, corporate finance, and financial markets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to draw conclusions from financial data and maintain high attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
