About the role#
The Commercial Middle Market Internship at Fifth Third Bank provides students with exposure to banking disciplines through hands-on experience. You will work within a specific line of business, contributing to day-to-day activities while receiving performance coaching and feedback. This is a full-time, paid summer program designed to build your professional skills through on-the-job training and networking.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments as determined by your Assignment Leader.
- Use project management skills to track and report on your project status.
- Participate in leadership development activities and community volunteerism projects.
- Build a professional network within your assigned division.
- Deliver a formal presentation to division or line of business leaders.
What you'll need#
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of at least 1-2 years of college coursework.
- Status as a rising senior with a graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
