About the role#
The 2027 IT Audit Intern position at Fifth Third Bank is part of the Leadership Program Internship. This program provides exposure to various banking disciplines through on-the-job training, networking opportunities, and performance coaching. Interns are integrated into daily operations, working as team members on larger initiatives while managing smaller projects independently. This is a paid, full-time summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform assignments and specific projects as determined by the Assignment Leader.
- Utilize project management skills to manage and report on project status.
- Actively participate in community volunteerism projects and leadership development activities.
- Build a network of resources within the assigned division.
- Deliver a formal presentation to line of business leaders.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow established safety procedures.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising senior with a strong academic record (minimum 3.0 GPA).
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Relevant internship or work experience.
- Professional customer service skills and the ability to solve routine problems.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
