About the role#
The 2027 IT Audit Intern position is part of the Fifth Third Bank Leadership Program. This internship provides exposure to banking disciplines through on-the-job training, networking opportunities, and performance coaching. Interns are integrated into day-to-day activities, working as team members on larger initiatives and independently on smaller projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform assignments as determined by the Assignment Leader.
- Utilize project management skills to manage and report on project status.
- Actively participate in community volunteerism projects.
- Build a network of resources within the assigned division.
- Deliver a formal presentation to line of business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Rising senior status with a strong academic record (minimum 3.0 GPA).
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Relevant internship or work experience.
- Professional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
