About the role#
This paid, full-time summer internship offers hands-on experience in automotive sales and dealership operations. Over 10 weeks, you will work with experienced mentors to learn the retail side of the automotive industry while building professional relationships with customers.
What you'll do#
- Assist the sales team in identifying customer needs and recommending vehicle options.
- Conduct vehicle walkarounds and demonstrate product features.
- Learn sales techniques through training sessions and mentorship.
- Coordinate with finance and service departments to understand how the dealership functions.
- Manage customer data in the CRM system, including tracking leads and logging interactions.
- Maintain a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Communicate with customers through phone, internet, and in-person channels.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications degree program.
- A genuine interest in sales, customer service, and the automotive industry.
- A valid in-state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Self-motivation and a desire to learn.
- Eligibility to work in the US.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The position is on-site at the dealership, requiring frequent movement between indoor facilities and the outdoor car lot.
- This is a paid, full-time summer 2027 opportunity.
