About the role#
We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our technology team. You will work alongside experienced developers to build and maintain features for the Sezzle platform. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world projects, code reviews, and our internal technology stack.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend services.
- Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.
- Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of the platform.
- Document software functionalities and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
What you'll need#
- Experience with Golang, Python, or other backend languages.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, and React or similar frameworks.
- A basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Current or recent enrollment in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering programs.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote within the United States.
- The role is full-time and paid at a rate of 700 USD monthly gross.
- This is a rolling internship.
