About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our technology team. This role offers hands-on experience working with a group of developers to build and maintain features for our platform. You will contribute to real-world projects and gain exposure to our technology stack while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services.
- Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.
- Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of the platform.
- Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.
What you'll need#
- Experience with Golang, Python, or another backend language.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, and React or a similar framework.
- A basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
- A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote based in Colombia.
- The role is full-time and paid at a rate of 2.800.000 COP monthly.
- This is a rolling internship.
