About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within the Commercial Real Estate - Middle Market division at Fifth Third Bank. You will work on-site during the summer of 2027. Interns support the team by taking on specific assignments, contributing to larger initiatives, and managing independent tasks. You will gain exposure to the broader organization while building professional connections.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects and assignments as directed by leadership.
- Manage and report on the status of your work using project management skills.
- Build a network of contacts within your assigned division and across the bank.
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
- Complete assigned coursework and engage in self-learning activities.
- Follow established safety procedures and bank policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask, manage your own time, and meet deadlines.
- Academic focus in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Business Administration is preferred.
