About the role#
This 10-week summer program places you within a core platform team at Verition. You will gain insight into how a global multi-strategy hedge fund operates while working alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute to projects that support our investment strategies and present your work to senior leaders by the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
You will join one of our platform teams, such as Data, Operations, Risk, Technology, Human Resources, Marketing, or Business Development. Your work will focus on the infrastructure that keeps our firm running. You will automate manual processes, build real-time dashboards, and develop tools to improve operational efficiency. You will also participate in a firm-wide trading simulation with your intern class to build your knowledge of financial markets.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, business, or computer science. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications is expected. We value candidates who possess intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and clear communication skills.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027. Positions are available in Chicago, Greenwich, Houston, Miami, New York, and Norwalk.
