About the role#
The Commercial Middle Market Internship at Fifth Third Bank provides students with hands-on experience in banking. You will work within a specific line of business, handling daily tasks and supporting larger team initiatives. The program focuses on professional development through on-the-job training, coaching, and networking opportunities. This is a paid, full-time summer position.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments as directed by your manager.
- Use project management skills to track and report on your assigned tasks.
- Participate in leadership development training and community volunteer projects.
- Build professional relationships within your division.
- Deliver a formal presentation to division leaders at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising senior graduating in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Completion of at least 1-2 years of college coursework.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are preferred.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
