About the role#
This is a hands-on support role within the Engineered Solutions department at our global headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. You will work on individual and team projects while gaining exposure to the daily responsibilities of company leadership. This position offers direct experience in the rotating equipment industry through participation in company meetings and job shadowing.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with technical evaluations, design reviews, and calculations.
- Track project progress on the shop floor and monitor custom-engineered jobs through manufacturing and assembly.
- Use digital metrology, process optimization tools, and reverse engineering techniques to complete tasks.
- Manage project documentation and track customer action items.
- Collaborate with operations, commercial, and engineering groups to support project delivery.
- Align design intent with production workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree program (or a related technical field).
- Completion of at least the sophomore year of a Bachelor's degree.
- Full-time students pursuing a related Master's degree are also encouraged to apply.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
- The role is on-site, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- The term lasts for twelve weeks during the Summer of 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
