    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience within the Core Fluid Analysis department at our global headquarters. You will work alongside professionals to support the design, build, and refurbishment of rotating equipment like steam turbines, compressors, and cryogenic pumps. The role includes individual projects, team activities, and exposure to daily leadership tasks through job shadowing and meetings.

    What you'll do#

    • Build automated workflows and data management tools to handle repetitive technical tasks and geometric analysis.
    • Standardize routines for testing and geometric data evaluation to improve processing times.
    • Organize and centralize technical datasets to ensure consistent modeling and analysis across product lines.
    • Participate in team projects, company meetings, and customer discussions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering program, having completed at least the junior year of a Bachelor's degree.
    • Full-time students pursuing a Master's degree in these fields are encouraged to apply.
    • Secondary studies in Mathematics are a plus.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
    • The internship runs for twelve weeks during the summer of 2027.
    • You must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
