    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship based at our global headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. You will work within our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department for twelve weeks during the summer of 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in the rotating equipment industry through individual projects, team activities, and exposure to leadership meetings and job shadowing.

    What you'll do#

    • Support company-wide health and safety initiatives by tracking operational metrics and maintaining digital incident management platforms.
    • Organize regular safety forums and update or facilitate safety training curriculum.
    • Conduct environmental inspections, chemical inventory assessments, and compliance audits across our manufacturing and operational facilities.
    • Participate in incident response and investigations.
    • Analyze safety trends and assist with root-cause assessments to support proactive risk mitigation.
    • Engage with cross-functional committees to reinforce a strong site-wide safety culture.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a student currently pursuing a degree in Safety Sciences or Safety Management.
    • Candidates should have completed at least their sophomore year of a Bachelor's degree. Students currently enrolled in a Master's program in these fields are also encouraged to apply.
    • You must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, as we do not provide visa sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This position is located on-site at our headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
    • You must be able to commute to the office Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
