About the role#
Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking an intern for the Global IT & Data Strategies team at our headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time summer 2027 position where you will gain hands-on experience in the business systems department of the rotating equipment industry. You will work on individual and team projects, attend company and customer meetings, and shadow leadership to understand daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Create a roadmap to move legacy enterprise site structures into a modern, scalable hub-and-spoke framework.
- Build a standardized governance model using metadata to improve file navigation and content management.
- Set up secure identity controls and guest-sharing policies to protect internal data and intellectual property.
- Write governance documentation and administrator playbooks to assist with long-term platform maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program (must have completed at least your freshman year) or a Master's degree program.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Knowledge Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or Management Information Systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Jeannette, PA, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (sponsorship is not available).
