    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience within the Product Engineering department at our global headquarters. You will work alongside engineering professionals on rotating equipment used in energy markets worldwide. This is a full-time position for the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and geometric calculations to validate casing pressure ratings and mechanical assembly standards.
    • Standardize and automate design frameworks for specialized mechanical support systems.
    • Compile and analyze design data across cryogenic pump models to establish centralized clearance guidelines.
    • Update engineering calculation tools, transmittals, and technical forms.
    • Complete individual projects and participate in team activities.
    • Attend company and customer meetings and shadow leadership to learn about daily operations.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and have completed at least your junior year.
    • Master’s degree students in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering are also encouraged to apply.
    • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • The role is based on-site at our headquarters in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
    • You must be able to commute to the office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the twelve-week duration of the program.
