About the role#
This position supports the PHY-500 Adv Physically-Based Modeling course for the Fall 2026 term. You will work directly with the instructor to assist in the classroom and manage grading tasks. This is a paid, part-time student employment opportunity based in Redmond, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Guide students through experiment setups during laboratory sessions.
- Answer student questions during class and lab time.
- Supervise and advise students during labs.
- Grade lab reports based on provided guidelines and upload results to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their work.
- Meet weekly with the instructor to discuss performance and duties.
What you'll need#
- Current matriculated student status at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Good academic standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Completion of PHY-300 and/or PHY-500 with a grade of B or better.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington state.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 to December 18).
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week.
- Note: You may not work during any time you are scheduled for a class.
