About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 semester to support the CS-260 Computer Networks I course. This position involves assisting the instructor with classroom operations, grading, and student support. TAs are expected to be reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their peers.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor with classroom setup and tear-down of tables and easels.
- Grade student work, including lab reports, using provided guidelines and upload grades to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on assignments.
- Assist students during labs and office hours.
- Maintain and clean equipment as needed.
- Track and report all hours worked accurately.
What you'll need#
- Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Successfully completed CS-260 with a B or better.
- Proven proficiency with course material.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and multiple aspects of Socket Programming.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor other students.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 31 - December 11, 2026).
- Hours: Up to 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, depending on the number of terms worked at DigiPen.
- Requirements: Students must reside in Washington state. Work is not permitted during scheduled class times.
