About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Student Teaching Assistant for CS-460 and 560 Advanced Animation and Modeling for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the instructor in classroom operations and student mentorship. You will work approximately 5 hours per week from August 31 to December 15, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and provide constructive, clear feedback.
- Assist students with project implementation, debugging, and general questions during labs and office hours.
- Upload grades and maintain accurate records on Moodle.
- Support the instructor with classroom setup, equipment operation, and facilitating student presentations.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback and task coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Completion of CS-460 or CS-560 with a grade of B+ or higher.
- Proven proficiency with the course material and a willingness to help others succeed.
- Ability to work independently and interact with students in a professional, mentoring capacity.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward learning.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Redmond, Washington, and requires on-site work. You must reside within the State of Washington.
- Compensation ranges from $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at the institution.
- You may not work during any time you have a scheduled class. Applicants must maintain good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, though academic waivers may be available for qualified candidates.
