About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 term to support the CS-460 and 560 Advanced Animation and Modeling course. This position involves assisting the instructor with classroom operations, grading, and student mentorship. You will work 5 hours per week under the supervision of Xin Li.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assignments and reports while providing constructive feedback.
- Upload grades to Moodle and maintain consistency in your evaluations.
- Assist students with project implementation, debugging, and general questions during labs and office hours.
- Help the instructor with classroom setup, slide decks, and student presentations.
- Meet weekly with the instructor to discuss performance and task updates.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen.
- You have completed CS-460 or CS-560 with a grade of B+ or higher.
- You demonstrate proficiency with the course material and can work independently.
- You are reliable, punctual, and committed to helping your peers succeed.
- You maintain a positive attitude and can provide professional critique to other students.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Redmond, Washington, and must be performed on-site.
- Employment dates run from August 31 to December 15, 2026.
- The pay range is $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Applicants must reside within the State of Washington.
- You cannot work during any time you have a scheduled class.
