About the role#
The Teaching Assistant for CS-116 (Hall) supports the instructor during the Fall 2026 term. This role involves classroom assistance, grading support, and direct student interaction during labs and office hours. The position requires a commitment of 5 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Attend a majority of one of the scheduled class periods (Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 to 11:20 a.m.).
- Assist students with questions during lab sessions and published office hours.
- Perform grading of student work and assessments.
- Meet regularly with the instructor for feedback and task coordination.
- Track and report all hours worked accurately.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Good Academic Standing (not on Academic Warning).
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Successful completion of CS-120 or CS-116 with a grade of B or better.
- Proficiency in the C# programming language.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 1 to December 3, 2026).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at the institution.
- Note: Students must reside in Washington state. Work is not permitted during scheduled class times.
