About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for PHY-250 for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Redmond, Washington. You will report directly to the instructor and provide support for classroom activities and grading.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor during lectures and lab sessions.
- Answer student questions and provide guidance during class activities.
- Set up and operate classroom equipment, including slide decks.
- Grade assignments based on provided guidelines and upload results to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their work.
- Meet weekly with the instructor to discuss performance and duties.
What you'll need#
- Current matriculated student status at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Good Academic Standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Completion of PHY-250 with a grade of B or better.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington state.
- Availability to work 10 to 20 hours per week between September 7 and December 11, 2026.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on prior terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: You may not work during any time you have a scheduled class.
