About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the MAT-140 course taught by Alexander Young. This is a paid, part-time position for the Fall 2026 term. You will work 3 hours per week from August 31 to December 11, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Grade student exams and assignments.
- Assist students during labs and office hours.
- Upload grades to Moodle.
- Deliver graded reports on time.
- Track and report your hours worked.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen.
- Successful completion of MAT-140 with a grade of B or better.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Proven proficiency with the course material.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- You must reside in Washington State.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Modality: On-site.
- Wage: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with the role requiring 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
- Note: You cannot work during any time you are scheduled for a class.
