Student TA – DES-100-B Lab 1 (Cronk), F26

About the role#

This position is for a Student Teaching Assistant for DES-100-B Lab 1 (Cronk) during the Fall 2026 term. The role involves supporting the instructor, assisting students in the classroom, and managing grading responsibilities. TAs are expected to meet weekly with the instructor for feedback and performance reviews.

What you'll do#

• Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist students in labs in person on campus.
• Meet with students online if requested.
• Upload grades to Moodle.
• Maintain timely delivery of graded assignments and ensure consistency.
• Assist with classroom duties such as equipment setup and facilitating presentations.
• Track and report hours worked.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Proven proficiency with Unity and visual scripting.
• A positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excel.
• Ability to interact with other students on an instructional level as a mentor.
• Must be able to attend at least one lab section in its entirety.
• Punctuality and the ability to maintain focus during work hours.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and a B or better in DES-100.

Location & details#

• Location: Redmond, Washington.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Hours: 5-10 hours per week.
• Compensation: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, depending on terms worked at DigiPen.
• Note: Students may not work during any time when they have a class scheduled.
