About the role#
This is a student Teaching Assistant position for CG-2001-B during the Fall 2026 semester. You will work under the direction of Zahra Haghiri to support course instruction. This role is paid and requires on-site work in Redmond, Washington. You are expected to work between 3 and 6 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Facilitate student presentations and answer questions during lab sessions.
- Manage equipment setup and operation, such as running slide decks for lectures.
- Meet with students online if the situation requires it.
- Track and report your hours worked accurately.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for feedback and duty coordination.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Successful completion of CG-2001 with a grade of B or better.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and good academic standing.
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling, UV Unwrapping, lighting, and rendering in Maya, as well as texturing in Substance 3D Painter.
- Ability to provide professional critique and communicate clearly with peers.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- You must reside in the State of Washington.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31, 2026, through December 4, 2026.
- Class times: Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
- Wage: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: You cannot work during any time you have a scheduled class.
