About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a Student Research Assistant for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position based in the Department of Journalism, Public Relations and New Media. You will work 12 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
What you'll do#
- Program research materials using Qualtrics.
- Recruit participants and collect research data.
- Organize and clean survey and eye-tracking datasets.
- Code eye-tracking data.
- Perform preliminary data organization and descriptive analyses under faculty supervision.
- Provide administrative support for daily operations, which may include assisting with department events, maintaining records, or updating websites.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Ability to follow all University policies.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site at Castellaw Communications 269 in Waco, Texas.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
