About the role#
This position is for a Student Teaching Assistant for CG-2000-D during the Fall 2026 term. You will work under the guidance of the instructor to support classroom activities and student learning. This is a paid, part-time student employment opportunity based in Redmond, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Assist the instructor in the classroom as requested, including equipment setup and slide deck operation.
- Provide support to students during labs and scheduled office hours.
- Facilitate student presentations and answer questions.
- Track and report your hours worked.
- Meet with the instructor weekly to receive performance feedback and discuss duties.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current, matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Successful completion of CG-2000 is required.
- Proficiency in digital painting and Photoshop.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide professional critiques.
- You must be in Good Academic Standing and not on Academic Warning.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to mentor fellow students.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the state of Washington to perform this role.
- Term: September 3, 2026, to December 3, 2026.
- Hours: 3 to 6 hours per week. Class times are Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
- Wage: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
- Note: You cannot work during any time you have a scheduled class.
