About the role#
Dewberry is looking for a Civil/Structural Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work from our Peoria, Illinois office. This position focuses on building your professional knowledge through a sequence of engineering tasks that apply standard techniques and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Work on a variety of projects, including schools, health care centers, higher education facilities, office buildings, and water treatment facilities.
- Assist with the preparation of engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Develop your professional skills through hands-on project experience.
- Participate in workshops, networking events, and group projects designed to support your career development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Previous exposure to civil or structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
