About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring Engineering students for our office in Richardson, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site internship position. You will work on pre-construction civil engineering projects and support our team with design, planning, and analysis.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and check project deliverables.
- Assist with design, permitting, and planning tasks for various projects.
- Help project managers solve technical problems and coordinate with different disciplines.
- Learn to use industry software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
- Become familiar with federal, state, and local regulations along with company procedures.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
