About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting client service teams. This role provides insight into the work of tax professionals through research, collaboration, and the use of technology. You will work on complex tax matters and receive mentorship from experienced team members throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Perform tax research and analysis for client engagements.
- Assist in evaluating the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues.
- Support client projects across various offerings.
- Use tax, data, and technology tools to support project execution and client service delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in business administration, accounting, or a related program.
- Expected graduation by Summer or Fall 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Definitive plans to meet the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid with an expectation to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week.
- This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity.
- Travel may be required up to 50 percent of the time based on client needs.
