About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the auditing profession. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain real-world experience in financial statement audits. You will receive guidance from a coach and participate in networking activities to support your career development. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2028.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Perform audit procedures over key financial statement accounts, transactions, and disclosures.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify risks, trends, and potential issues.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized audit documentation.
- Collaborate with client personnel and engagement teams to gather information and support audit execution.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Definitive plans to meet the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Location & details#
- This role is a hybrid position.
- You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- Expect to co-locate on average 3 times a week, with potential travel up to 50 percent depending on client needs.
