About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with client service teams to analyze tax implications, perform research, and assist with planning and compliance. You will help clients evaluate complex tax effects and support their business goals using technical knowledge and data.
What you'll do#
- Conduct tax research on federal, state, and other matters to support client engagements.
- Analyze findings to develop insights on the tax impact of business and individual decisions.
- Support the preparation of technical memoranda, summaries, and other written analyses.
- Assist in preparing business and individual tax returns, forms, and workpapers.
- Collaborate with engagement teams to gather information and track deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Juris Doctor degree or higher.
- Expected graduation date in Summer or Fall 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Bar exam eligibility prior to beginning full-time employment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to co-locate 2-3 times per week.
- Residency: Must live within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- Travel: Up to 50% may be required based on client and project needs.
- Compensation: The wage range for this role is $25 to $49 per hour.
